The beach is a mere ten minute walk from school. Students consider it a great place to relax at the end of a busy school day. A range of water activities and recreational clubs are based there.
Frankston is a lovely city with shopping malls, an Arts Centre, a huge range of sporting facilities, a library, hospital and two large cinema complexes. It offers a beautiful beachside location with easy access to the bay as well as all of the benefits of city living.
The Mornington Peninsula
Just south of Frankston is one of Victoria’s most popular tourist destinations – the Mornington Peninsula. It is bounded on one side by beautiful, tranquil beaches and, on the other, by thrilling surf beaches. Kangaroos and koalas are readily seen living in the wild, and the scenery is amongst the most stunning in Australia. Surfing, hiking and sailing are just of few of the many activities available. The Mornington Peninsula is also a world renowned golfing area containing many of Australia’s finest and affordable courses.
