The Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority’s (VCAA) release of VCE results has enabled us to compare our student performance with statewide results, and Percentage of Study Scores of 40 or more.
The percentage of study scores from 40 to 50 has been used by the VCAA as a comparative index of schools in the state. Our results have consistently allowed Frankston High School to be ranked in the top 10 of government, non-select entry metropolitan schools in the state.
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
- 24% of students received an A+ or A grade in their assessments.
- 7% of students achieved study scores over 40. This was the top result for all government schools on the Mornington Peninsula.
- The many students who were able to reach their full potential as a result of their commitment to their studies and the outstanding teaching at Frankston High School.
- The dedication of our outstanding teachers who generously supported our students to achieve such excellent results.
These results reaffirm Frankston High School as one of the leading schools in the state.
It is a great pleasure to report that following the first round university offers, 95% of our Year 12 students who applied for tertiary study have received an offer. We anticipate that after mid-year offers, 100% of these students will be proceeding with tertiary courses.
