Alana studied at Frankston High School from Years 7-11, graduating Year 12 elsewhere in 2010 (not by choice, would have stayed at Frankston if she could!). After Year 12, she studied a Diploma of Accounting and worked in this field for a number of years before moving into studying a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking with the International Institute of Technology. Alana now runs her own mortgage broking business and is passionate about educating people and ensuring they are provided with the best solution for their individual situation.

Alana has also created a program she is launching soon to educate teenagers on credit and what they need to know before buying a home.

Alana came in and shared  her experience with Year 10 Foundation Maths students in 2024. She also came back in 2025 to speak to Year 11 students who are interested in a career in marketing.
