Alysia graduated from Frankston High School in 2011 and went on to study a Bachelor of Journalism alongside Psychology at Monash University. She was keeping her options open with psychology but wound up pursuing her passion in the media. Alysia has steadily worked her way through junior production and editing roles at outlets such as Channel 31 and the Eastern Football League on to almost 8 years at Channel 9 where she started as Assistant Chief of Staff and finished as a fully-fledged Producer. Alysia then spent a year in London with ITV before returning to Australia where she now works for the ABC. She has spent time producing for News Breakfast before moving on to production and now reporting for renowned current affairs program 7.30.
