Ben graduated from Frankston High School in 2018 and worked in hospitality for three years, building a house in that time. At the age of 21, Ben went on to study paramedicine and is now full-time with Ambulance Victoria working a combination of day and night shifts across the week. Ben finds his work both challenging and extremely rewarding and is now studying postgraduate critical and intensive care as the next step on his career journey.

Ben came back twice in 2025, once to Year 11 students who are interested in a career in health and to the Year 9 cohort about his own career as well as providing insight as to how the public should respond if an emergency occurs.
