Approximately 200 students are actively involved in our Band program which is an essential part of our school’s culture. Participating in such a large and successful Music program offers numerous advantages. A recent report on music education in Victorian schools provided evidence that:

• Music Education enhances student engagement and well-being, promoting personal and social development while contributing to learning in other subjects.
• Music Education fosters cohesive communities within schools.
• Music brings economic, cultural, and social benefits to the wider community, offering pathways to various occupations, enhancing cultural vibrancy, and fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
