Jordan graduated from Frankston High School in 2014. She initially set her sights on a career in teaching and studied primary and secondary education at Monash University. Through the process of study and placements however she realised this direction was not for her. After extensive research, Jordan embarked on Swinburne’s Bachelor of Media and Communications (Professional) course, which involved a year long paid placement opportunity. Jordan wound up completing this placement at an agency that specialised in science communications, which led to further work opportunities. It also ultimately led Jordan to find her niche career of science and health communications; she has worked with a number of research institutes and has even helped researchers improve their own presentation skills. Jordan is now the Marketing and Events Manager for the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria

Jordan came back to school in 2024 to speak with Year 11 students interested in careers in health, science and research.
