Josh graduated from Frankston High School in 2007. He started a degree in a different field, but had been exposed to the world of construction through his family’s involvement and eventually decided it suited him too. Josh completed a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) at Deakin University. Whilst studying, he commenced with SJ Higgins Group and on graduation spent time working in fly in, fly out (FIFO) basis to QLD and WA within the mining construction industry. He has gone on to start up a subsidiary company within SJ Higgins as a Pre-Construction Manager and has a history of working in the construction industry across a wide variety of sectors and locations.

Josh came back school in 2024 to speak with Year 10 Vocational Major students about different career pathways available to them. Josh also returned to speak with Year 11 students with a specific interest in his field.
