Katie graduated from Frankston High School in 2012. She was determined not to do any further study after school and started out in hospitality before concluding that she would really prefer a 9-5 role. She gained employment as a receptionist in a real estate agency then worked her way through a number of roles including PA, property management and sales, enjoying the process of learning on the job and becoming a highly valued employee along the way. Katie wanted to keep working when she started her family a few years back and set about establishing a highly successful virtual assistant business, which allows her to use her highly developed organisation, administration and people skills while working flexibly. She now works for a number of regular clients and every day is different, which suits her just perfectly.

Katie came back school in 2024 to speak with Year 10 Vocational Major students about different career pathways available to them.  Katie also returned to speak with Year 11 students about her career trajectory and experience.
