Kristian graduated from Frankston High School in 1992 and was set to be drafted for St Kilda, before being involved in a serious motorbike accident which put football on hold. He briefly embarked on an engineering degree at Monash, but deferred after less than a semester and didn’t return. Kristian spent the next few years working as a bookmaker before completing a Bachelor of Applied Science at the Australian Catholic University. While studying, he took on some work in a logistics company which then led to him becoming an Operations Manager. Kristian then moved into a sales role for a logistics organisation and wound up working there for 15 years. About five years ago, Kristian set up his own logistics and freight business, ELS Managed Freight. The business works domestically across air, road and rail with a warehouse in Dandenong South.
Kristian came back to school in 2024 to speak to Year 11 students about his diverse career.
