Laura’s career pathway includes acoustic engineer in the construction industry, international development evaluator in Tanzania and three years of Australian public policy consulting experience. She completed her Masters of Evaluation in 2020 and is passionate about mixed-methods and developmental evaluation approaches that centre people and capability building. As a public policy consultant for Paul Ramsay Foundation, the work Laura is most proud of includes providing honest advice to government, particularly in education and skills through policy review and evaluation work and supporting for-purpose organisations to demonstrate and articulate impact.

Laura came back to school to address an assembly in 2014 and spoke to Year 11 students in 2025 about her career in Engineering.
