Lisa graduated from Frankston High School in 2009 and is an experienced community lawyer working extensively with victim-survivors of abuse, trauma and gender-based harm. As Deputy Director of the Legal Practice at Women’s Legal Service Victoria, Lisa manages a large integrated  team to support women experiencing family violence to find safety and gain independence for themselves and their children. Lisa and the migration team advise and assist women on temporary visas or with a precarious migration status to understand their rights and options to stay or leave Australia and ensure their visa status in Australia is fairly determined. Lisa is also an active policy and advocacy contributor and is a member of various migration sector working groups.
