Marcus is the General Manager at Betty’s Burgers, Frankston. He graduated from Frankston High School in 2014 and initially started studying for a career in paramedicine before recognising that he was better suited to something more hands on and set about following his passion for food. Marcus completed a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and a Certificate IV in Patisserie at William Angliss before joining the pre opening team at the prestigious Jackalope on the Mornington Peninsula, where he gained skills for life. He eventually decided to move into the role of General Manager at McDonalds where he was also able to complete plenty of their training. He is now enjoying the best of both fine dining elements and speed of service at Bettys Burgers, where he even employs a few Frankston High School students.

Marcus came back school in 2024 to speak with Year 10 Vocational Major students about  different career pathways available to them.  Marcus also returned to speak with Year 11 students with a specific interest in his field.
