Rebecca graduated from Frankston High School in 2014 and began university unsure of her path, starting a double degree in Science and Global Studies. By following the subjects that genuinely interested her she discovered a passion for psychology during an exchange in the UK.
Over time she discovered that psychology was the right fit and she worked hard to get into an Honours year and with the support of a mentor, Rebecca went on to complete a Clinical PhD in Psychology.
Today she works as a psychologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre helping people cope with the challenges of cancer diagnoses and treatment.
Rebecca came back in 2026 to speak to a Year 10 Work Experience assembly about her study and career pathway to date.
