Sam graduated from Frankston High School in 2016 before studying a Bachelor of Science at Monash University with a major in Chemistry. He completed an internship at Asahi Beverages, worked in analytics at a winery and has now gone on to become a Research and Development Specialist, in other words a food scientist. He is part of a global innovation team, focussed on all the stages of development and extensive research before a product comes to market.

Sam came back to school during Science Week 2024 to speak to students about his career.
