Yunus graduated from Frankston High School in 2014 and went on to do a double degree in Business and Psychology at Monash University. He has used skills from both areas of study as well as a further qualification in data science in campaign and marketing management roles. Yunus is now Head of Marketing at FMClarity, a large software company that looks after clients within the healthcare, education and hospitality industries. Yunus’ role involves extensive data-analysis, marketing strategy and managing a team of junior marketers to develop an effective multi-channel marketing department driving growth.

Yunus came back to school during Maths Week 2024 to share insights about his career with Year 9 Advanced Maths students. Yunus also returned on the first day of the 2025 and 2026 school year speak to the incoming Year 11 cohort about connection, resilience and striving for Optima Semper (best always) and again to engage in some Q&A with the same group.
