In Middle School, students at Frankston High School are supported to explore a broad and varied curriculum that caters to the individual learner through a rigorous and authentic curriculum, blending both an elective and core program. An emphasis is placed on valuing the individual learner and promoting student voice and agency through the selection of subjects from a wide range of offerings.

COMPLETING A VCE SUBJECT WHILE IN YEAR 10
Year 10 students are encouraged to undertake a VCE Unit 1 & 2 subjects. Students must have the recommendation of teachers and generally do not undertake more than one VCE subject.
FOCUS
The focus on critical and creative thinking and real-world learning is maintained and the student’s capacity to work collaboratively is extended through a broad range of student groupings. In Year 10, students are given the opportunity to accelerate their learning by commencing a VCE or VET subject, allowing them to experience the rigorous demands of the final years of schooling.
