Exciting News! School Laundry Now Available to All Students

Frankston High School is the first and only school in Australia to partner with Orange Sky to provide a convenient and complimentary laundry space open to all students.

Who is Orange Sky?

Orange Sky is an Australian-based non-profit providing a platform for everyday Australians to connect through a regular laundry and shower service. Their focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.

How can a free laundry program help students?

A free laundry program can not only reduce the impact of hygiene poverty on students but also empower students through learning the life skill of laundry and connecting them with support.

Our goal is to build life skills while connecting students in need with free laundry and support.

Two Locations: Next to the Wellbeing Centre on the 7-10 Campus and behind the Canteen adjacent to the Wellbeing Office on the Senior Campus.

Services: The School Laundry has washing machines, dryers and laundry powder along with detailed instructions on how to do laundry.

Access: The School Laundry is available to all students and can be accessed by using their student Compass card.
