Zara graduated from Frankston High School in 2022 and is currently studying a double degree in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Monash University. She works for the Hon Clare O’Neil MP – Minister for Housing, Homelessness and Cities, alongside a role in the not for profit sector.

After finishing school Zara used her French while working as an au pair in Paris and backpacking across Europe. She has continued to apply her language skills through international travel, including kickboxing in Thailand (as it is a very international sport). These experiences have given Zara a strong real world understanding of different cultures which she hopes to apply in a future career in politics and consulting.

Zara came back in 2026 and spoke to Year 10 students who are studying French.
