Kacie graduated from Frankston High School in 2003 and began a double degree in Commerce and Communications before deciding to leave university after two years to pursue real world experience. She explored a variety of roles across different industries including Real Estate gaining broad business insight along the way.

After becoming an Airbnb host, Kacie experienced firsthand the challenge of finding cleaners who were consistent, reliable and transparent with pricing. Seeing a clear gap in the market she founded The Big Clean Co.

Today Kacie owns two thriving businesses: a local cleaning company employing more than 20 people and a fast growing consumer brand with a cleaning product sold all over the world, marketed solely on social media.

Kacie came back in 2026 to speak to a Year 10 Work Experience assembly about her study and career pathway to date.
