Sarah graduated from Frankston High School in 2003. She is an Australian marathoner who began running at age 6 and made her first national team at 29 for the 2014C ommonwealth Games. She has since represented Australia 5 times, including a record 4 World Championship marathons the most marathons run by any female for Australia in World Championship events. ​

Her top global result is 14th at the 2022 World Championships in Oregon. In 2025, she served as Australian Team Captain at the Tokyo WorldChampionships. Alongside her athletic career, Sarah has always worked full‑time and is currently Head of Campus at Caulfield Grammar School’s Yarra Junction Campus.

Sarah returned to Frankston High School in 2026 as a special guest speaker for our International Women’s Day Breakfast.
